Homework should take about 20-30 minutes. Please restate the question. Example: My text-to-self connection to the story is... Include title and author for each response. Reading Responses: Monday - What is the most important event that happened in the story. Why? Restate question. Tuesday - Can you make a text-to-self connection to the story? Restate question. Wednesday - Answer W questions about the story (who, where, when, and why?). A paragraph, please do not write separate sentences. Thursday - What is your opinion about a character in the book or your opinion about whether you should or should not read the book. Explain. Restate question Friday - What is the author's message? What do you think the author is trying to teach us? Restate question. Saturday - Is your book fiction or non-fiction. Explain how you know. Sunday - Describe your favorite part of the story and why it is your favorite part. If you are reading non-fiction describe what you learned from reading the book. |
